Describe one of your favorite moments.

Though there are many moments in my life I cherish, the first one that came to mine happened only last year. I was camping with loved ones in the North Carolina mountains. Our campsite was just a few yards from a creek, so as we explored the campgrounds we stumbled upon it.

It was the first sunny day of our trip, and golden rays of light filtered through the trees. The ground was still damp from the rain that poured consecutive days beforehand. The creek was hidden down a narrow dirt path where giant magnolias and azaleas bloomed. Once we got to the bottom of the hilled path, it was like stepping into a storybook.

Something about the serene scene of flowing water, warm sunlight, and low-hanging branches made it seem as if magic could exist; like a place from another realm. It was so peaceful to be surrounded by the beauty of nature without the pollution of cities or people.
